Popcar Car Share is a membership-based car sharing service committed to providing a more sustainable and cost effective way for drivers to access cars on an hourly or daily basis across Australia. Located in their own dedicated bays, our array of premium vehicles are available to reserve for as little as 1 hour up to 4 days. We partnered with Habitat Byron Bay to bring 3 brand new vehicles to their innovative precinct and we have a great business plan for Habitat businesses.
Your business can control and maximise their financial resources whilst retaining the luxuries associated with having access to a private vehicle by choosing Popcar Car Share instead of over-investing in a pool of fleet vehicles OR paying for large amounts of Ubers & Taxi’s. In Habitat we have two Toyota Corolla Hybrid vehicles and one Toyota Hiace Commercial Van available for businesses and residents to use in the precinct. From a business standpoint using Popcar over a fleet of vehicles is the smart decision as our cost effective service is all inclusive. We look after the finance repayments, fuel, registration, insurance, tyres, servicing and cleaning which means more money in your businesses pocket.
Popcar would provide a dedicated account manager that would look after your business account, ensuring all of your car share needs are being taken care of. Under your business account you can choose the way that you pay for your employees Popcar use. There is the option to receive a detailed monthly invoice that will have a complete breakdown of staff use. We also have the option for your business to link a credit card to your corporate account so you are able to pay as you go, after each trip you will receive a detailed invoice outlining each reservation. Popcar will work with your business to tailor what will work best for you and make the payment process as easy as possible.

3 EASY STEPS TO GO.
How to get started with Popcar.
It is super simple to join and will just take a few minutes! Just follow the steps below and you’ll be a Popcar member before you know it:
FILL IN YOUR APPLICATION: You can sign up via the link above or talk to our friendly Membership Experience Team by giving us a call on 1300 707 227 or email membership@popcar.com.au and we can assist you. To finalise your application please confirm your email address. We ask that you also validate your licence within the Popcar app by uploading images of your drivers licence and a selfie holding your licence.
REGISTRATION APPROVAL: Once you have successfully completed the process above, our membership experience consultants will process your application. Applications can take up to one business day to process.
READY TO GO: Once we have verified all your account information (this takes 1 business day), if approved you will be able to access our vehicles immediately using the Bluetooth feature within our app. You can download our app on both the Apple and Android App store. We will also post a membership pack to the account administrator which will include further information and an access card as another way for your staff to access our vehicles.
HOW TO USE.
Using Popcar is easy.
BOOK YOUR POPCAR – All members will receive access to our easy to use online booking system or you can book on the fly with our App on iPhone and Android. Just pick your car, date and time and you’re ready to go.
UNLOCK AND DRIVE – When you get to your Popcar, you can unlock the vehicle using Bluetooth via our app. Or tap on the chip reader with your access card from your membership pack to enter your reserved vehicle. Our hybrid vehicles have push start buttons that turn the Popcar on and off. However, our vans have a key located on a pully string within the vehicle. The keys stay in the car and are just used to start the car.
RETURN – Once your trip is complete, return the Popcar to where you picked it up from, lock it again via the app or tap off with your access card and you’re all done.
